How to turn failure into an advantage

I’ll be honest, self help books aren’t necessarily my go-to because what tends to happen, is that I read one, feel motivated for about two days, hey I’ll even start trying to apply some of the tips, but then, like clockwork, I fall into old habits, forget the tips and find myself back at square one.

So I was definitely sceptical to say the least when I trotted off to my local library and picked up a copy of Elizabeth Day’s Failosophy. I recently saw her on a podcast and was quite intrigued by what she had to say.

Anyway, her book Failosophy touches on the topic of, you guessed it; failure. A short, easy read that, surprisingly, left me with some food for thought. Three chapters in particular, helped me to see failure in a more holistic and productive way.

Firstly, failure just is.
